10 days / 9 nights – max. 6 participants Experience an exclusive wildlife photography tour through Uganda, the Jewel of Africa. We encounter mountain gorillas, chimpanzees and fascinating golden monkeys up close in their natural habitat. One of the absolute highlights of this journey is the opportunity to go gorilla trekking twice, giving us more time to experience and photograph these extraordinary animals. The legendary shoebill and many other fascinating wildlife species also await us. Reiseplan: Day 1 | Arrival in Entebbe Arrival in Uganda and transfer to the lodge. Time to settle in and relax after your journey. Day 2 | In Search of the Shoebill A boat trip through the Mabamba Swamps in search of the legendary shoebill, one of Africa’s most extraordinary birds. Day 3 | Journey to Kisoro A scenic drive through Uganda’s fascinating landscapes and beautiful countryside towards the southwest of the country. Day 4 | Golden Monkeys An unforgettable encounter with the fascinating golden monkeys in the bamboo forests of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. Day 5 | Journey to the Mountain Gorillas Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the rare and majestic mountain gorillas. Day 6 | Mountain Gorilla Trekking Embark on an unforgettable trek through the rainforest in search of a mountain gorilla family. Observe and photograph these magnificent great apes in their natural habitat. Day 7 | Second Gorilla Trekking Experience Spend another day in the rainforest, enjoying unique opportunities to observe and photograph mountain gorillas and their fascinating behaviour. Day 8 | Kibale Forest Travel through Uganda’s diverse and breathtaking landscapes to Kibale Forest, home to one of Africa’s richest primate populations. Day 9 | Chimpanzees & Bigodi Wetland Join a chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest, followed by an exploration of the biodiverse Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, rich in birdlife and other wildlife. Day 10 | Return to Entebbe – Departure Return to Entebbe and say goodbye to Uganda’s extraordinary wildlife and unforgettable natural wonders.
