STEP 1
The first contact
There are a few things to discuss before the session.
First, we'll discuss your ideas, then what time of day works best for you, and what kind of location you'd prefer—whether it's a forest, a meadow, or a lake, for example. I'm happy to adapt to your wishes or suggest suitable locations. We also need to discuss the weather conditions and any equipment or helpers you might need.
After that, we'll find a suitable date and nothing will stand in the way of the photoshoot.
STEP 2
The shooting day
We'll meet at the agreed time at our location. It's important to me to get to know you a little before the shoot. During our conversation there, I'll give you some important tips and tricks for posing, or rather, not posing. Don't worry, I'll guide you through the shoot in a relaxed way and set the stage for you. We'll even take breaks sometimes, because everything should be completely stress-free.
Depending on the shooting package, we will stay in the immediate vicinity; with the larger packages, we can gladly make a detour.
STEP 3
The agony of choice
Depending on the workload, approximately 2-3 weeks after our shoot, you'll receive a link to your online gallery. From a pool of about 30-40 images, you'll need to select the ones you'd like edited. I've already done the preliminary work, removing images where, for example, the dog or you have your eyes closed, or those with less-than-ideal poses or movements. This should make things a bit easier for you. Even so, you'll still have a wide selection to choose from.
STEP 4
Image editing
I shoot all my photos in RWA, meaning I have the raw diamonds that I now polish, or rather edit, to perfection. I dedicate a lot of time to image editing because I want to present you with a perfect and beautiful final result.
Apart from contrast and colors, etc., this also includes retouching out leashes and collars and/or distracting objects.
Prepare to be surprised; the result will make your face glow. And sometimes I wave my magic wand and true magic happens...
